Iowa Pastor: “As a member of the clergy…I hope that Iowa will legalize doctor prescribed cannabis”

“As a member of the clergy, I struggle with abuse of what God has given us. However, I do not think that we should privilege human-produced drugs over ones found in nature. If cannabis, or any other substance, can help with mental and physical conditions or can be used to relieve pain or prevent seizures, it should be an option for those who need it. I hope that Iowa will legalize doctor prescribed cannabis, especially for those who cannot find relief through the pharmaceutical industry.”
