How Do I Petition to Add or Remove a Condition or Treatment
Any person or entity may file a petition to add or remove medical conditions, medical treatments or debilitating disease with the Medical Cannabidiol Advisory Board.
The petition form may be filled out electronically or hand-written, and then completed with a signature and date. The petition may be emailed, mailed or hand delivered to:

Patient Information Sheets for Health Care Practitioners
An information sheet for health care practitioners to discuss with patients on the therapeutic use of medical cannabidiol is available.
As required by the 2017 Medical Cannabidiol Act, the patient information sheet – entitled Information for Iowa Patients about the Therapeutic Use of Medical Cannabidiol – provides explanatory information about the possible risks, benefits and side effects of the proposed treatment.
