How Do I Petition to Add or Remove a Condition or Treatment

Any person or entity may file a petition to add or remove medical conditions, medical treatments or debilitating disease with the Medical Cannabidiol Advisory Board.

The petition form may be filled out electronically or hand-written, and then completed with a signature and date.  The petition may be emailed, mailed or hand delivered to:

As required by the 2017 Medical Cannabidiol Act, the patient information sheet – entitled Information for Iowa Patients about the Therapeutic Use of Medical Cannabidiol – provides explanatory information about the possible risks, benefits and side effects of the proposed treatment.
