I’m just so sick of it.
Sick of the ugliness, sick of the lies,
To even tell the truth these days is considered ‘politically incorrect’.
It took me a while, but I finally came up with the courage to do something about it.
I’m the Republican nominee for State Representative in our Iowa House district.
I’m running for office because I’m not afraid to tell the truth.
The truth is the truth, even if it upsets people.
Especially if it upsets people!
Most of all, I’m sick of all the centralized bureaucracy, taking power and money away from our communities, tangling us up in knots of unnecessary regulation and unfunded mandates.
That’s what my campaign is about.
Bringing power back to the people in our local communities.
I’m not afraid to tackle the bureaucracy:
- Education Bureaucracy that tries to raise our children for us with authoritarian dictates and unfunded mandates.
- Healthcare Bureaucracy that works for corporate profits more than health and healing
- Criminal Justice Bureaucracy that demands our freedom in exchange for security
I’m ready to speak boldly on these institutions and the special interests that infest them.
I’m willing to speak the ‘politically incorrect’ truth if that’s what I have to do.
But I need your help.

Government can’t run our lives any better than we can, and now people are starting to feel the pain.
And It’s our fault!
We’ve let big government grow up around us.
Ever so slightly, one law and regulation at a time…
Now we’ve woken up and bureaucrats are making decisions we used to make ourselves.
We’ve lost self-government.
It’s our fault, and now we need to fix it.
There’s a lot going on in the world, the future is uncertain.
I hope my campaign can be a beacon back to the wisdom of a different era, where individuals were recognized for the divine beings that they are.

We have spiritual problems.

There’s so much stupid talk and blathering these days in politics, it’s so easy to get distracted.
That’s why now more than ever it’s important to project a positive vision. The vision of the world of truth and beauty that we wish to create.
That’s why I put the peace sign and heart on the logo.
Because it’s so easy to make things worse.
To make things better requires…
….Patience, kindness,
…Gentleness, Forgiveness….. Generosity
It’s going to require something deeper from ourselves, and something very positive.
