The group “Iowa Patients for Medical Marijuana” fights to get medical cannabis to people it says could find relief with it, but the group says these dispensaries don’t go far enough.

“It improves their quality of life as far as legal issues,” said Jason Karimi, the group’s executive director, “but for many of the patients, they’re saying directly to us that it will not improve their quality of life with the restrictions placed on the program.”
