Sorry. I thought it was 2002 so the headline was trying to scare the shit out of you. Meanwhile two tanks of gas away, police are partying it up with their citizens instead of ruining families and careers while claiming “I’m so surprised:”
For what appears to be a substantial amount of marijuana this small town mayor just became a likely face for the absurdity of pot laws (sorry ya got caught, mayor, but it would have been great to have public support before the bust, don’t you think?)
This doesn’t come as much of a surprise to those from small town Iowa used to elected officials running, say, meth through corn fields while in local city council office, for example. (A random example, don’t sweat and put the pipe down Bob there’s an election next week).
The drug war offers lots of opportunity for corrupt state officials to make a pretty penny if they’re willing to look the other way. Just read Mexico’s surprise at the fairly obvious: the President of Mexico was paid $100 million by drug cartels to let them sell whatever they wanted and take it over the border (build a wall and the cartels will buy it folks).
Note the cryptic comments throughout the Iowa media from those “surprised” the mayor was harmlessly growing a personal amount of medical marijuana at her home in Jamaica Iowa. Or maybe we’re just reading into things.
On another note, our journalists have multiple sources at the scene of the alleged shooting that took place that have come forward with information anonymously. Without incriminating anyone, we can affirmatively say that the gun was brought to the fight, with notice given in writing to other moronically entertained attendees of this stupid, juvenile fight, and that the original disagreement was about an alleged theft, between two teenagers and now somebody almost died. Thanks to our journalists here at WeedPress we are yet again front line witnesses to the worst excesses of the current culture that the drug war has wrought: children, amped up on music videos glorifying criminal cultures enabled by these laws, killing each other, while the political class pretends to be shocked when one of their own does what they normally do: whatever the hell they feel like.
Good work Iowa. And mayor? Don’t play coy with a fake I’m so sorry apology. Own up or shut up, please. Just some advice, from fellow supporters here. Don’t screw us.
