Has Iowa’s Official CBD Advisory Board Failed To Visit Iowa Dispensaries?

I’m typing up the August 2nd CBD advisory hearing transcript. Here’s an excerpt:

“Being at the dispensary has been eye opening. I know a lot of you haven’t gotten the chance to be there but I would like to formally extend an invite for you to come. You can see the product labels, the product types. Go through our patient consultant process. Go through our patient journaling process. Things like that. Really get a good feel of what’s going on at the dispensary. Additionally, most of you have not been back to our manufacturing since it was just a, I would say, dusty slab? So not when we were doing anything. We would like to invite you guys back so we can deep dive into this research that I talk about every single time. And I’m sure that Acreage would also be able to have you over as well. So thank you very much.”

So if most of the Board members haven’t been updated on actual boots-on-the-ground work by cannabis warriors at the five dispensaries located throughout the state, then how can they advise the legislature on the program? One would think if you owned a McDonald’s franchise you would want to stop by the stores from time to time…
