From a top advocacy group in Minnesota comes this internship opportunity for students:
Policy InternSensible Change MinnesotaInternship/PlacementWe are looking for a student who wants to gain experience working on policy change in Minnesota! Ideal candidates have great attention to detail, are self-sufficient, and able to utilize technology to work remotely. The Policy Intern worked under our Policy Director, and with the Advocacy Committee, to develop and execute strategies that change drug laws in Minnesota. We emphasize compassion, restorative justice, and public health in everything we do. Currently our primary legislative goals are expanding access to medical cannabis and legalizing adulterant screening tools.
Internships are unfortunately unpaid, but we are able to work with you if your internship is credit eligible at your school. Interns can be located anywhere in Minneapolis, but it is best if you can travel within the state on occasion, especially to St. Paul to work with our advocacy team at the Capitol!
