Congratulations Teal Swan: “Externalized Collective Shadow” Diagnosis Spot On

Justice reform is Teal Swan’s number one issue apparently.

She says it’s society’s “externalized collective shadow” of fragmentation and unwholeness/separation. I was interested in her views mainly to see where she evolved, and after three years of research into the aspect of separation and lack of connection which is the root of crime and addiction, she has come to the correct, fucking, conclusion. So, you liberty folks, economic geniuses, and the like, who wonder why drug policy and justice reform is my chosen path of advocacy who won’t probably really read this, it’s because it’s the darkest, most depraved shadow of mankind. The rest seems obvious, this takes intuition and human feeling and smarts, and provides the largest impact by all metrics possibly available I’ve ever encountered in any political situation. So, I’m glad I didn’t waste my time watching the best and brightest come to the same conclusion: prison issues, as the freaking Bible directly says, are the root, foundation, core thing to look at, any society’s values, morals, and direction…and ours is just plain ghastly. But not for long if you’re working on the issue and seeing the education aspect finally bear fruits.

Teal has an excellent speech, almost Ted Talk like, on her scholarly and intuitive work and research into loneliness. For three years, Teal delved into that issue, having at some point identified it as the root to both drug abuse/addiction and crime (for in order to harm another you must first disidentify and divide yourself from that “other”; otherwise, you are only harming yourself if you see everyone as One). The issue of loneliness is fleshed out in a painfully brutal fashion, the both preferred and inevitable way of the shamanic path involving psychedelic drug use in a ritualized setting.

Drug policy advocates who find themselves in jungles taking potent God drugs to solve human issues come back with news that is normally along the lines of, “this is going to be the most painful work you will ever possibly do and you have to do it and have no choice,” a message usually unpopular, but well delivered here in this talk below. Please enjoy, and then, get the fuck to work, because it’s quite fun, and we’re finally winning wars on justice reform, how we treat drug addicts, how we collectively understand the need to fight crime with certain neutral techniques and timeless practices, and the importance of structures, order and hierarchies made from creative chaos and unlimited possibilities. Connection is THE key, critical variable to solving drug crimes, addiction, and the scholars are all coming to work on this together after years of work to truly tackle it and get this sometimes gross job done, but this time, without dehumanizing sick people.
