Yes, PTSD Is On Iowa Board of Medicine’s February Agenda For Addition To Iowa’s Medical Program

We need everyone who can to come and speak in favor of PTSD at the meeting. For details on the February 7th 2020 meeting with the Iowa Board of Medicine, see this WeedPress article. Public comment is highly encouraged and requested at the meeting. It begins at 9 am.

Iowa Board of Medicine’s Kent Nebel just called to clarify that PTSD is definitely on the agenda for their February meeting. The agenda is not finalized, so, that is why the posted public agenda does not list PTSD. Mr. Nebel advised the meeting will begin at 9 am and PTSD will be discussed towards the beginning with the meeting typically lasting 2 hours long. Public comment is very much wanted, especially because we do not anticipate this to be passed without resistance from board members.

So, while the Board has not finalized their agenda yet, there is no need to worry, PTSD is on the agenda and is a priority. Stay tuned for updates. Hopefully PTSD will be the first mental illness allowed an exemption to our misguided and very unscientific drug prohibition law.
