Today’s Ankeny DMACC Hearing On Cannabis Program Has Faulty Video Due To WiFi Not Working

Technology issues today making putting video out there a bit harder. This is why it’s always/usually recommended activists bring a separate non-internet relying video camera to record, and a second backup device for audio in case the video doesn’t work. Sometimes people are nervous about bringing those items to hearings like this, and they should be. If in doubt, call and ask permission first. I know myself, since they know me, I would have a better chance of using recording equipment there, but not everyone may be welcome to do so. I’m not the host of these events, so you’ll have to talk to the cannabis advisory board if you want to avoid any unnecessary embarrassment.

I will try to be at the next board hearing. Going to bring a video camera and will upload video after the meeting. Thanks to all who attend, and to those who work to provide notes and updates as these circuses progress.

I’m recording video from the faulty WiFi stream now and will upload and post here later this weekend so those who didn’t attend the advisory board hearing in Ankeny today can watch what happened. I don’t have time to type up transcripts for these hearings anymore, but may have found newer software that transcribes audio for cheap.

For now you can watch  video courtesy of MedPharm here:
