Des Moines Area Shag Stores Drop CBD, Stating “CBD Is Illegal To Sell And Won’t Be Back On Shelves Anytime Soon”

Shag stores in Iowa will not sell “CBD” over the counter any longer, citing it’s illegal status as a Schedule 1 narcotic in Iowa. This is according to employees at their West Des Moines Shag location.

Somebody should like, you know, organize a petition drive, or legislator lobbying push of some sort, to legalize CBD so they can sell it to people, but CBD sales people appear to want to pretend they’re rebelling. Selling illegal CBD is a surefire way to make sure your voice is silenced in Iowa as it makes you a criminal, and therefore, irrelevant to the political discussion as a reasonable leader.

Legal “mCBD,” or medical CBD, is available through Iowa’s mCBD dispensaries, but only at these five locations.
