Iowa’s plan does not legalize the production or use of CBD, according to the state Department of Agriculture & Land Stewardship. Hemp Today blog has more on that.

I blame illegal CBD salespeople for allowing this all to continue on for so long, and it matters, because they are the problem, and they also prevent the solution so, here we go.
Frauds at the Corner Store Apothecary in Cedar Rapids have repeatedly bullied vulnerable patients by claiming that Iowa’s new laws magically legalized CBD, in spite of this woman getting charged with felonies for distributing CBD whose felony charges are still pending. They have also repeatedly made medical claims about their products that bring their practices into the hazy purview of medicine, an ethical dilemma for Iowa’s patients, never mind the outright lies about legality or what can happen if customers are arrested or drop dirty on a drug test for their job or probation.
Kymm Loeffler, her husband, and even her son, have taken advantage of community goodwill, damaged Iowa patients and the credibility of medical CBD by selling her products illegally, and has succeeded along the way by forever discrediting her entire family by entrapping them in the scheme that is meant to self-edify instead of humbly serve. The fact that her store is allowed to sell CBD illegally while others face felony charges is hypocritical, as she’s one of the snakes that have conned Iowans into putting the horse before the cart, reasoning that if everyone just breaks the law, they won’t bust everybody, while in the meantime, foregoing credibility and opportunities to educate the public by hiding in their corners instead of a robust advocacy effort — instead of fixing glaring inaccuracies in their claims about legality, they called anyone who pointed out the law a “snitch” and repeatedly shouted them down confrontationally.”
This seems to be happening by more than just the Loeffler CBD businesses, but is standard operating procedure for the so-called illegal CBD industry (what year is it again?) in Iowa.
This CBD issue should have been fixed, and selling it illegally is a weak strategy that shows you lack the will, or the power, to use your voice to tear down unjust laws. Instead you chose to profit from them. At this point, I do not at all see you as good people with good intentions, and I directly blame you for CBD arrests and persecution of people on probation, at risk of job loss, or facing felony charges, because you intentionally spread misinformation and bullied and attacked anyone who dared speak up and ask questions — the more vulnerable the person, the more vicious you attacked.
The youngest, Jordan Loeffler, threatened me in writing on the Iowa Patients for Medical Marijuana page and had people attacking me as a “snitch” for pointing out this illegality is going to be a problem needing fixed. The Loeffler family’s incredible attempts to silence people trying to draw attention to the necessity to protect consumers and legalize CBD while profiting from it’s sales is astounding. I truly hope at this point you get busted, just so I can see you lie in public to the public on the record, instead of through the media, but Kymm, when you do get arrested, don’t say I was the one who reported you. You reported yourselves, and remain liars, without honor. Eventually, I hope you take your dirty money to the judge, and explain yourselves under oath.
