Iowa only allows CBD to be sold at high priced dispensaries that many patients can’t afford. As a result, over 2/3 of Iowa patients do not stay active in the program and return to the black market or worse.

    This article is inaccurate. In Iowa, you must have not just a doctor’s recommendation, but pay a fee and be an active registered cardholding member in the CBD only medical program. You can’t just get a doctor’s note and go to a porn store and buy CBD. Outside of the three dispensaries whose products are state approved you cannot purchase CBD in Iowa without facing legal problems. A lady in Ankeny is facing multiple felony charges for selling CBD. Please update your article. Thank you!
