Fellow Iowa Patients and advocates, we truly need your help and ideas here!

So, I was invited to provide suggestions for policy proposals on decriminalizing marijuana in Des Moines.

Here’s a preview of our work so far:

Decriminalizing Des Moines has been a project long sought after. To that end we continue work to gather data on:

• Best worldwide decriminalization practices
• Decriminalization and legalization stats showing legalization leading to less youth marijuana use and abuse
• Honest answers about marijuana, not fear tactics, will solve problematic drug use by building honest community connection that emphasizes inclusivity over punishment without dehumanizing drug users.
