Meeting Information: February 10, 2023 Medical Cannabidiol Board Meeting

Beginning at 10:00am on Friday, February 10, the first Medical Cannabidiol Board meeting of 2023 will be held in-person at the address below:

A sign-in sheet will be provided at the meeting for those who would like to give public comment.

For those who wish to participate in the public comment period virtually, please send an email to medical.cannabidiol@idph.iowa.gov expressing your interest. You will use the zoom or dial-in information to join the meting when provided. There will also be a period during the call to order where there will be an additional opportunity for participants to sign-up via email for the public comment period.*

    Hello. Thank you for sending me this information. I live in a very rural area, and will not be able to attend either option, but; Would you ask a question for me, someone?
    Why does the Cannabidiol need to use alcohol for the shelf-stability of the product?
    Why does it need flavoring? Or sucralose?

    1. THC is not water soluble; alcohol solution strips THC off plant effectively. Google this. It’s common basic knowledge.

      It doesn’t need flavoring; companies do that for consumer enjoyment
