Bully John Kuehn Sues Nebraska, Cries Medical Cannabis Can’t Be Legalized Because Federal Law

The Nebraska Examiner is reporting that former politician John Kuehn’s attorneys are arguing that Nebraska’s Governor Pillen is “under no such compulsion” to declare the measures successful because federal law classifies marijuana as a dangerous drug.

Even though case law clearly establishes state medical programs cannot be interfered with or vetoed by the feds, John Kuehn, a former state senator, has sued to block medical cannabis legalization in Nebraska, claiming fed laws can overrule state medical laws. John Kuehn has no hope with this frivolous lawsuit, but political science teaches one benefit of picking fights is to get your team to show their cards, so maybe that’s what John Kuehn is up to.

Or maybe he just wants the black market to continue to have monopoly protections in a decriminalized state like Nebraska. John Kuehn did not respond to WeedPress’s request for comment to clarify his true intentions.

Regardless, WeedPress is thrilled to report and follow up on this uniquely interesting lawsuit. This clown-like public stunt from a bully harassing medical patients will both set great case law that will end up protecting state cannabis laws from federal interference moving forward, but also, show the prohibitionists have no ammo left in their now lengthy list of debunked lies. Thanks, John Kuehn!

When your enemies hand you wins, you usually don’t correct them, but this lazy lawsuit is just so damn good, I am posting it here to record the poetically ironic justice of it all for posterity, as well as my own bemusement.

If you’re not excited by the likely outcome of John Kuehn’s desperate, reactive, lazy loser’s lawsuit then just read this Supereme Court case to see in advance what John Kuehn’s lawsuit will result in ruling wise:

See? Don’t tell me God doesn’t have a magnificent sense of humor.

If John Kuehn really cared – about his kids, and public safety, and keeping dangerous drugs like fentanyl and K2 off the street – he wouldn’t have to pull stunts like these lawsuits, and would win in legislative and public debate. However, 70% of his fellow Nebraskans voted to regulate medical cannabis, and too little too late, John Kuehn now pretends to be resisting the 48 states with medical regulations, ignoring Supreme Court precedent, and asking Nebraska courts to rig the system again so the truth about marijuana Nixon knew all along doesn’t get made public.

Political stuntmen like John Kuehn thought if they rigged the legal system, destroyed it’s integrity with drug war era laws, that those laws would never ever change.

That lead to complacency.

Lazy prohibitionists failed to advance their arguments to win over the hearts and minds of the public and instead claimed they were just wanting people to follow the “law.” They also wrongly thought if they bullied legalization advocates as “criminals” they would avoid a real debate on the issue. Now, the debate is settled in the public mind. As a result, the laws and status quo have now been reversed. Exposed with no arguments left as to why marijuana should have ever been made illegal in the first place, the John Kuehn’s of the world now have to pull these political stunts with frivolous lawsuits instead to get anyone to listen to them.

Medical cannabis’s enemies continue to make the case for responsibly regulating cannabis better than cannabis patients ever could (plus it’s hard to advocate from a wheelchair when bullies like John Kuehn are threatening to send police to their house for showing up at the Capitol to ask for relief). The bullies clownish attempts to cheat sick patients through frivolous lawsuit stunts – instead of engaging in good faith dialogue – expose these bullies lack of credibility. Good luck, John Kuehn. I can’t wait to see you tell this to the judge! I’ve been laughing all week after seeing this argument come out of nowhere.

Who knew? Stupidity and tactical mistakes seemingly has no limits these days. Does nobody think to warn John Kuehn that his lawsuit will only be a slam dunk win for medical cannabis, and against the current thriving Nebraska black market for cannabis, once the judge issues a ruling? Man, with friends like those, John Kuehn must not be very much cared for. That’s kind of…sad…..I hope my friends would stop me from making mistakes that help the other side.

While Jesus came to prove man’s laws don’t work for men, John Kuehn aims to prove that once again man’s laws are imperfect. I guess that makes John Kuehn a sort of Jesus figure…and the judge is about to publicly crucify him. Such hubris and obtuseness is mesmerizing to witness. Try the veal, fellow freedom fighters, but don’t choke on it through the laughter.
