This is one of the most important calls for support we’ve ever made—and we’re asking for your help to keep us moving forward.

As many of you know, the journey to establishing this sacred community and bringing our vision to life has been a labor of deep love and commitment. For the past three years, Shaleesa and I have personally carried much of the financial burden to help this church take root—covering legal fees, property costs, and many other essential start up and ongoing expenses. Together, we have invested our time, energy, and resources because we believe wholeheartedly in this vision and in serving this community.

At this time, we are facing some critical expenses to help bring this next chapter of our church into form. Our most urgent need right now is securing visas for our Indigenous teachers so that we can hold the sacred Ayahuasca ceremonies we’ve all been waiting to practice together. Each of these visas will cost nearly $2,500-$3,000, and without them, we will not be able to fully realize the vision of our church or provide the authentic spiritual experiences that are at the core of why many of us joined this community.

Right now, Shaleesa and I are doing everything we can to meet these needs. We’re maxed out on debt and loans, paying a second mortgage for the church property, and we’ve resorted to selling some of our personal belongings to pay for upcoming expenses, but overall these next expenses far outweigh what we can do on our own anymore. We are asking for help from the community.

If each member donated $50, we could cover the cost of one visa (although we ideally would like to start with two). However, we realize that not every member we have is actively attending events or reading our emails to hear this request for help, and we also understand that not everyone is able to make a donation of this size. We are sending this particular request out to our wider network of subscribers as well in the hopes that regardless of membership, you may feel called to help this effort move forward. We truly hope you hear our sincerity when we say that we are grateful for every contribution. If you are able to contribute less than $50, please consider now the best time to do that because even the smallest amounts come together and make a meaningful impact. And if you are able to contribute more than $50, please do, as it will help make up the difference. The visa process takes several months up to several years depending on the type, so we can’t delay much longer in getting this started.

This is not just about financial support—it’s about all of us stepping into shared responsibility for the sacred space we are co-creating. We believe in the power of this community, and we know that together, we can make this possible.DONATE NOW!

One other possibility that could make an impact – much of the costs for visas comes from legal assistance with filing paperwork, documentation and interview preparation. If you, or someone you know, is an attorney who specializes in this and could help our cause through discounted fees or a donation of their time, please let us know. This is an area where grassroots effort can provide monumental support to our mission!

Thank you so much for your support,

Connor Mize
