Scottsbluff to Lincoln: Advocates Take Patient Access Conversation Across the State
Nebraskans for Medical Marijuana (NMM) is hitting the road this week with a statewide town hall tour aimed at updating patients, families, and community members on the current status of Nebraska’s medical cannabis program — and what comes next.
Hosted by Crista Eggers, Executive Director of NMM, the tour will stop in five cities across Nebraska, creating space for direct conversation about legislative developments, regulatory decisions, and how those changes may impact patient access.
“These town halls are about clarity and engagement,” organizers say. “Patients and families deserve accurate information about where the program stands and how ongoing decisions could affect access moving forward.”
What Attendees Can Expect
Each town hall will cover:
• The current legal and regulatory landscape of Nebraska’s medical cannabis program
• Pending legislative activity and its potential impact
• What patients and caregivers should be preparing for
• Opportunities for public engagement and advocacy
Organizers are encouraging patients, caregivers, healthcare professionals, law enforcement, and community members to attend, ask questions, and stay informed.

Organizers are urging attendees to RSVP in advance to help plan capacity and materials.
They are also asking supporters to consider donating to help fund travel across the state and expand future stops.
