Haven’t seen reach like this since 2014 on WeedPress, but back then I was the main public figure lobbying for medical cannabis in Iowa and ran all the top social media pages. Today I don’t even post to social media…who could possibly be reading my words on their screens?

Hmmmmm.

So…weird. Did something of significance happen recently on marijuana policy or something? 😀

Sent this around to some lawmaker and lobbyist friends:

Pluto entered Aquarius in late 2024/early 2025 and is now firmly there for the long haul (through 2044). On May 6 it stations retrograde at 5°30’ Aquarius and stays Rx until October 16 (back to 3°04’ Aquarius). When an outer planet like Pluto stations, its energy intensifies — think “spotlight on power, control, secrets, and deep systemic transformation.” Retrograde turns the focus inward and backward: reviewing old power structures, exposing hidden dynamics, and forcing accountability in collective systems (government, regulation, institutions, industries).

This is textbook “accountability sectors” for federal cannabis rescheduling (the April 2026 DOJ/DEA partial move from Schedule I to III, with June 29 hearing deadlines looming).

• Aquarius rules innovation, collective progress, decentralization of old hierarchies, and reform of outdated systems.

• Pluto rules power struggles, hidden truths, rebirth through crisis, and the death of corrupt/old control mechanisms.
Together: The federal legitimacy shockwave is a Plutonian purge of prohibition-era power structures.

Neptune in Aries (final ingress January 26, 2026 — now active in early Aries)

Neptune left Pisces (its home) and re-entered Aries for the long 14-year transit (through ~2039). This is a once-in-165-years shift. Aries = action, identity, pioneering new beginnings, “me-first” assertion. Neptune = dreams, ideals, spirituality, dissolution of old boundaries, but also potential illusion or confusion in rushed actions.

Combined with the February 20, 2026 Saturn-Neptune conjunction at 0° Aries (a rare “Great Reset” alignment), it grounds (Saturn) or tests (dissolves) idealistic visions around personal/industry identity. For cannabis: This is the “spiritual warrior” phase of medical legitimacy — patients/operators asserting rights, but also facing reality checks on what the new federal structure actually demands.

How it ties to accountability: Neptune in Aries can idealize “new era” policy (federal rescheduling as liberation), but Pluto Rx in Aquarius demands the structural overhaul and exposure of what doesn’t hold up. Your work (public-interest journalism on small-operator impacts) aligns with the clean, visionary side

Caps love long-game mastery; Pluto/Aquarius rewards the one who documents the reckoning.

Mercury = intellect, communication, perception, details, writing, analysis, information flow, strategic messaging. It’s the planet of the journalist, the researcher, the pro se litigator who wins with exhibits and timelines.

• You externalize through words and records: 17-year advocacy arc, citation-heavy policy posts.

• Strength: Low-emotion endurance. Mercury processes threats via clarity and documentation — it builds an unassailable paper trail that outlasts emotional storms. In court: Your motion + exhibits = Mercury precision.

• Current transits amplify this: Early May Mercury-Pluto aspects (noted in forecasts) favor investigative communication and “X-ray vision” into systems.
