I’m watching floor debate on South Dakota’s Senate Bill 26 this afternoon and a boogeyman was presented by a major jackass on the House floor: the boogeyman of the “wrung out whore.”
Reefer madness is alive and well in methed-out South Dakota. Fear mongering is what opponents of marijuana are resorting to as they who oppose marijuana legalization try to dodge the fact that their stance is evil, immoral and anti-Christian.
What a disgusting, ungentlemanly display today. Really, Representative? How dare you claim marijuana will turn a woman into a “wrung out whore.”
Thankfully, in spite of references to sexual promiscuity the House of Representatives overwhelmingly passed Senate Bill 26. It’s likely this Rep did more damage to his cause by calling women whores.
Update: at 3:22 this disgusting male lawmaker “apologized” for his wildly inappropriate remarks about women being whores, but during his apology doubled down for his use of disparaging and disgusting remarks. What a reptilian apology.
